David Bednall has been our Musical Director since 2007.

He is an innovative and exciting composer and a highly experienced organist, accompanist and choir trainer.

He is Sub Organist at Bristol Cathedral and maintains an extensive freelance career combined with PhD studies at the University of Bristol. He has established a reputation as an exciting and virtuosic performer both live and on recordings. In particular he is known for his skills as an improviser.

He is increasingly in demand as a composer and his work is notable for its vivid and accessible qualities.
